Mater Dei Catholic Primary School recognises the importance of connecting with the wider community and supporting local initiatives. This year, the school is thrilled to sponsor the U8s GPS Rugby Green team.

The partnership with GPS Rugby reflects the school's commitment to contributing positively to the community. By sponsoring the team, Mater Dei supports young athletes in developing their skills and enjoying a supportive sporting environment. This initiative goes beyond financial assistance; it is about fostering the physical and social wellbeing of the community's young members.

"Supporting the U8s GPS Rugby Green team allows us to engage meaningfully with our community and offer valuable opportunities," explained Principal Donna Jones. 

"It was also a pleasant surprise to discover that some of our Mater Dei students are part of the team, and they invited me to watch one of their games."

"I felt an immense sense of pride watching our students in action and seeing the joy that playing the game brings to their lives."
