​​Eligibility

1. The competitions are open to all attendees of the Mater Dei Open Day, excluding staff and their immediate family members.

2. Participants must be following Mater Dei’s official Facebook or Instagram profile to be eligible for the social media competition.

Competition Period

1. The competitions open at 10:30 am on Sunday, 11 August 2024.

2. Entries for all competitions must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Sunday, 18 August 2024.

Entry Details

1. Open Day Passport: Participants must collect stamps from designated locations and submit their completed passport at the registration desk before leaving the event.

2. Capture the Fun Photo Competition: Participants must take a photo at the Open Day, share it on Facebook or Instagram, follow Mater Dei Catholic Primary School’s official profile, tag the school’s profile, and use the hashtag #MaterDeiOpenDay to enter. If a participant’s profile is set to private, a screenshot must be sent to the school via direct message for the entry to be included.

3. Colouring-In Competition: Participants must submit their completed colouring sheets at the registration desk before leaving the event or by emailing a copy of their entry to pashgrovewest@bne.catholic.edu.au before the competition end date.

Judging and Prizes

1. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by Mater Dei Catholic Primary School or by random draw.

2. Prizes include movie tickets and treats, a craft pack, and a kids’ prize pack.

3. A maximum of one prize per family will be awarded.

4. The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winner Notification

1. Winners will be notified via the contact details provided at the time of entry (for the passport and colouring competitions) or via direct message on social media (for the photo competition).

2. Winners will be announced on Friday, 23 August 2024.

Prize Collection

1. Prizes must be collected in person from Mater Dei Catholic Primary School by Friday, 30 August 2024.

2. If a prize is not claimed by this date, Mater Dei Catholic Primary School reserves the right to select an alternative winner or dispose of the prize as they see fit.

Use of Entries

1. By entering the competition, participants consent to the use of their photos, names, and/or colouring submissions by Mater Dei Catholic Primary School for promotional purposes.

2. Entries may be shared on Mater Dei Catholic Primary School’s social media platforms, website, and other marketing materials.

General

1. Mater Dei Catholic Primary School reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.

2. Mater Dei Catholic Primary School is not responsible for any lost, late, or misdirected entries.

3. By entering the competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
