We warmly encourage parent participation in the Mater Dei Parents & Friends' Association (P&F). The P&F generally meets on the second Monday of each term, with dates advertised in the school newsletter and noted on the school's calendar, accessible via this website, the Parent Portal, and the BCE Connect App. All parents and friends in our community are invited to attend these meetings, as well as the Annual General Meeting held in November each year.
The P&F is responsible for organising tuckshop volunteers, fundraising, and social activities. Our aim is to support the school in providing a high-quality education for all students. Additionally, the P&F offers a forum for parents to discuss issues, raise funds for resources and projects, and help develop a sense of community at Mater Dei.

- Mater Dei Trivia Night
- Mater Dei Family Fun Day
The P&F also plays a leading role in running the Mater Dei Dance School, which is open to the wider community. This valued service helps in the development of the Mater Dei community.
Operating within a constitution adopted by Catholic Schools Parents Queensland, a new P&F committee is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting.
