It is the responsibility of parents to ensure their children come dressed to school every day in the correct uniform. A note giving a reason for why the incorrect clothing is being worn must be given to the class teacher. The school hat is a part of the school uniform and must be worn proudly.
The following points must be adhered to:
Black shoes for both boys and girls. We suggest the children have leather shoes and/or leather joggers (for physical education activities) NOT coloured, and NO basketball full ankle high shoes unless for orthopaedic reasons.
Children are permitted to change into more appropriate footwear for PE activities but are required to change back into the correct school shoes upon the completion of the activity.
School hats must be worn by the children when coming to school, leaving school, during lunch and play breaks and any time the students are participating in outside activities or excursions off-site.
Jewellery, nail polish and any accessories other than maroon or sky blue headbands or ribbons, gold/silver sleepers or studs for earrings in both ears, a medical-alert bracelet/disc and a watch are not acceptable.
Hair must be brushed, neat and tidy. Hair length below the collar of a dress or shirt or falling below the eyebrows, must be tied back and away from the face. There must be no extremes or variations to hair colour or length. (e.g. tracks, mullets). Please contact the office if you need clarification.
All new uniform requirements are available from Ashgrove West Drapery, 467 Waterworks Rd, Ashgrove.
