​​Prep Information Sessions

Starting Prep is an exciting time! It can also be a time of uncertainty for children and parents. To make the transition to school as seamless as possible, Mater Dei holds Prep Information Sessions for those families with children transitioning from Kindy to Prep.
These events are held in Terms 2, 3 and 4 and are a chance for families to hear from leadership and Prep teachers, about how to best prepare your child for school. Topics covered include:

• ​​Supporting the development of your child's pre-reading skills
• Supporting the development of your child's numeracy skills
• Supporting your child to transition to Prep

Prep Readiness Sessions

Mater Dei’s Prep Readiness sessions, welcome all families to join us to learn more about Prep life. These sessions are welcome to all - you do not have to be enrolled or have submitted an application - and they are designed to prepare children for their first day of school, ensuring only smiles and laughter for that special milestone.
